1525 Gilcrest has been a magical place to start our family, and while we're sad to be moving on, we hope you love it as much as we do. The open concept main living space with floor to ceiling windows and wood burning fireplace feels like a greenhouse in the summer and snow globe in the winter. It's perfect for entertaining friends and family, and makes a cozy spot to relax with a book in front of the fireplace on Sunday mornings. We've loved soaking up all the natural light year-round. The wood burning grill in the kitchen is a special feature you won't find in many homes, and we've absolutely loved cooking on it, especially on a chilly fall or winter evening.

We've carefully designed the space with modern light fixtures and new hardware on doors throughout the home, and the entry room/office and downstairs bathroom have been completely remodeled this year. Insulation, dry wall, flooring, doors, windows in the entry level and plumbing in both bathrooms are all new in 2021. We also remodeled the basement with new drywall, windows and paint in 2019. And we installed energy efficient mini splits in the main living space and each bedroom for cooling in the summer; they can also be used for extra heat in the winter, though the radiant heat system works like a dream and doesn't dry out the house like forced air does. We've had the boiler serviced every year and it is in great shape. Outside you'll find several raised garden beds for a bountiful harvest. We've gotten a lot of produce each summer from the beds and love picking black raspberries from the bushes in the back of the property. We've also started a large compost bin that will have compost for your gardens next spring.
